This picture looks real because the subject is looking out of frame instead of at the photographer.
This picture looks natural because the girls is facing away and the swing is in motion.
This picture looks real because of how relaxed and natural the subjects are.
This picture looks unposed because it is capure in a moment that seems spontaneous.
This small child is building with blocks. That is what children do. Hence, natural picture.
These pictures both turned out well, though there are bits of background in each that are distracting and could be darker. They look real because of the natural positions of the subjects and the fat that they are looking at each other, not the camera.

Collaborative School Picture
The most important thing for these pictures to stay the same is that everyone is about the same distance away form the school. Everyone should also adjust there light meter but keep it the same for their whole section.
Carter Mountain Critique
I was very happy with the pictures from this project. The "emotion" was good for both and they printed quite well. Though low light made both negatives slightly blurry I would say the printing effort is about a 9. I put alot of time into both of theres but there is always space to get better.
Polaroid Lift Off
Good pictures for this process are pictures that are simple and well exposed, no dodging or burning needed. Pictures that don't have harsh lighting.
I was very happy with how my transfers turned out. They were all well exposed and didn't rip in half. However, the black and white took far too long to separate.
Sepia Tone
I believe that sepia tone makes pictures look "happier" so a good picture for sepia tone is something that is suposed to be that way.
My sepia pictures toned well, though the second is not really my favorite. This might be because it is printed on glossy paper, which I don't really like.
Roll 9 Critique
I thought the pictures from this project were ok. The second does not have an extremely clear center of interest but the first one is good there. I would put my printing effort at maybe an 8. Though I did a lot of burning and other such work I feel that the first picture especially could be better. This might be because after I printed it once (great) that print was thrown out by accident and I put less effort in the second day.
Photographs From Famous Photographers
I like the background in this and how it both complements the subject and brings focus to it. Also, since this image is in color I like the way the colors work together.
I like the pattern and repetition in this picture from the way the subjects are posed. I also like the contrast between the dark of the elephants and the light color of the dress.
I love the emotion/concentration here along with the ambiguous background.
I like the way the person is posed in this picture and the composition (rule of thirds).
I love the simplicity of this picture and the way it is taken from the side.
